Black 'N Out is a collective of passionate tech professionals who are black, out, and proud. Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space for black LGBTQIA+ individuals in the tech industry. We believe in the importance of representation and visibility, and we are dedicated to elevating the voices and experiences of our community.

At Black 'N Out, we provide a supportive platform for black and out tech professionals to connect, network, and uplift each other. Our aim is to foster an elevated sense of community within the black in tech space and to create opportunities for personal and professional growth through mentorship, career development resources, and networking events.

Meet the Team


  • Events, Culture Community Enhancer

    An accomplished expert with a decorated background in arts and entertainment media management. Brandon's expertise in building company culture, developing diversity strategies, and creating experiential events has been honed through his work at top companies such as Meta, Airbnb, and Brex. Currently, Brandon is the head of culture at Brex and the owner of The Brandon Sidney Agency, an event and employee experience agency.


  • Mission, People, Vibe Trailblazer

    An experienced proven people and mission-driven leader at Bezos Academy, who's passion for effective representation, respect, and the development of underserved and underrepresented communities spans across more than 10 US states and 3 countries for over 15 years. Ryan is also a renowned DJ personality, curator, and an advocate for black and queer communities in Seattle and Chicago known as "DJ BOP".
